First Steps in Piano (ages 4-6)

Want your little one to get a head start on music instruction?  Our First Steps in Piano group classes are designed for ages 4-6.

We have new classes starting January, 2012!  Class for beginners will meet Friday 3:15 and Saturdays 2:00 p.m.  The Saturday class begins January 21st.

Group lessons are a great introduction to private piano lessons, and are recommended (though not required) before your child begins traditional private piano instruction.  Classes are structured for the early beginner, and incorporate activities to keep your little ones moving and engaged!

First Steps in Piano Class is a new program for 4-6 year olds that will focus on building a solid foundation for music learning.  This 45-minute weekly group class features singing, dancing, and beginning exploration of the piano.  Students will learn to read and understand music through folk tunes and “My First Piano Adventure” series.  Each weekly session will end with music making for the entire family.
