A musical, sing-a-long birthday party. What could be more fun!
We have two options for birthday parties.
1 If the party is held at your home, we will come to your house with instruments and provide a 45-minute musical sing-a-long for the children and the parents. Cost is $120.
2 Rent our entire studio space for a birthday party! For $200, you get two hours of space at our studio and a 45 minute sing-a-long. You and your guests may use our Multi-purpose room (21 x 21), our Waiting area, and two empty classrooms for your party. Included in this cost will be a 45-minute musical sing-a-long for the children and parents, led by one of our talented teachers. You can let us know what songs to include for the sing-a-long (choose your child’s favorites), or we can choose the music for you. You provide the decorations. The two empty classrooms are great for setting up crafts, and the waiting room is a nice area for food and party favor set up. The best time for parties are Saturday (working around our teaching schedule) and anytime Sunday.
Guidelines for the parties held at Velocity Music Academy:
- $50 non refundable deposit to hold your date.
- Remaining $150 due one week before event.
- Parent is financially responsible for any damage done to instruments (pianos, music together instruments, etc.) during the party. Pianos will be in closed up rooms to prevent damage, and it is the parents’ responsibility to keep the children out the rooms.
- Parent is responsible for cleaning the studio after the party and leaving all items (furniture, etc.) as they were found before the party. This includes vacuuming food crumbs, taking out trash, and wiping down tables.
- An optional $50 fee is charged for cleaning if parent does not wish to clean after the party.
- $100 per hour fee if the party exceeds two hours.
- 30 minute set up and 30 minute clean up time included in the cost.
- Parent will provide the food, beverages, decorations, and crafts.
- Outline of party: First 30 minutes, mingle, play, craft. Next 45 minutes: Musical Sing-a-long provided by one of our teachers. Last 45 minutes: food, birthday cake, present opening, additional crafts, etc.
